Is the Patterson Film Real?

Perhaps the most famous, and most questioned film in the history of Sasquatch sightings is the 1967 Patterson Film. It is also called the Patterson-Gimlin footage or PFG for short.

Since it was released it has undergone immense scrutinization and examination. Sasquatch believers view this as the holy grail...as the best video proof available to date. Skeptics say it is a hoax performed by a desperate film maker and is nothing more than a man in a costume.

Digital enhancement and ergonomic technology has progressed to the point where a careful and scientific examination of this film can be made. Please watch the documentary below. I'll admit that it is a little lengthy, but it is riveting.

So apparently a family was walking near a river in Calgary and saw a Sasquatch.

Many people have written this off as a hoax....but please watch this rather interesting analysis before drawing your own conclusion.


Now other people say that the kids saying "That is not human" is an unchildlike expression. I totally disagree! My 5 year old always uses the word "human" in his day to day vocabulary.

After a small cabin in remote Canada is attacked by unknown creatures, a group of scientists, wildlife photographers and other experts are sent to figure out the mystery.

I must admit that when I first watch this I concluded that it was simply a prank being pulled by college students.

However, after listening to the analysis I can see the reasoning and think this may be real.

Les Stround encountered Bigfoot while filming

Frankly, many Bigfoot encounters we see or hear about are by unknown people. However, in the radio interview below, you will hear Les Stroud - Survivorman - talk about an encounter he had while filming in Alaska.



Les Stroud was interviewed on KZOZ by Jeff and Jeremy.

Jeremy brought up his favorite subject of Sasquatch which we thought was a ridiculous question, surprisingly, Les brought up an extremely intriguing story that gave us the chills about a possible Sasquatch experience.

Bigfoot Encounter at Oregon Caves National Monument

In the beautiful forests of Southern Oregon there is an amazing national monument know as the Oregon Caves. The half mile cavern, carved out by running water, is indeed breathtaking. You can read all about the cavern HERE.

However, it is what lurks above the cave, in the dense old growth forests that interests us.
